Cardio-K+ is a food supplement with approved claims to help maintain normal LDL cholesterol concentration.

Plant Sterols, also known as Phytosterols, are naturally occurring substances found in low levels in a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, cereals. Plant Sterols have been shown to lower/reduce blood cholesterol.

The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of between 1500mg to 3000mg.

When taken regularly, Plant Sterols can help stop cholesterol from being absorbed into the blood and small intestine and help maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Healthy cholesterol levels play an essential role in maintaining a healthy heart.

High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.

Each tablet provides 800mg of plant sterols, 1.49mg of Monacolins & 7.5mg CoQ10.

How To Use

Take one tablet daily with water, to contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.

Alternatively, take two tablets daily with water, to help reduce blood cholesterol.

Ingredients

Red Yeast Rice Extract 334mg (3% lovastatin) (Monascus purpureus Went.) providing 10mg Monacolin K, Co Enzyme Q10, Magnesium Stearate, Capsule Shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose.

Do not exceed the stated daily dose.
Keep out of range of young children.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Containdications:
-Use cautiously if taking blood thinning agents or if you have suppressed co-enzymes Q10.
-Do not use if on statin medication.
-Anyone with raised blood cholesterol, triglyceride levels should seek advice from a healthcare provider before using this product.
-Not recommended for people at risk of or have a history of liver disease.
-Do not take if you are pregnant, intend to be pregnant or breast feeding.
-Not recommended for people under the age of 20.
-Do not consume grapefruit juice with this product.
-Do not take this product if you consume more than 2 units of alcohol per day, if you have a serious infection, if you have undergone an organ transplant, if you have a serious disease or physical disorder or if you have undergone major surgery recently.
-Consult your doctor if you are taking any medication or if you are under physician supervision for cholesterol control.
