Product Information: Fybogel Sachets are natural remedies for constipation. The high-fibre, granules dissolve quickly into water and make a delicious drink. This is a sugar- and gluten-free treatment that also contains natural ispaghula-husk fiber, which helps to maintain regularity.
Fybogel sachets come in three flavours: orange, lemon, or plain. Each flavour comes in 30 sachets. Forum Health manufactures Fybogel and Reckitt Benckiser Health markets it.
Fybogel can be used for:
- Relief from constipation
- Controlling bowel movements and making it easier to pass stool.
- Normal bowel function for people with an ileostomy/colostomy, chronic diarrhea due to diverticular disease or ulcerative colitis.
How To Use: Mix each sachet in a glass of 150 ml water. Drink the mixture as soon as it stops fizzing. It is best to take the medication after eating. It is best to take the medication at night before you go to bed.
Children 12 and older should take the recommended doses in the morning, evening, and after dinner.
Children aged 6-12 years old should consume half a cup of 5ml granules, dissolved in water, after dinner and breakfast.
This medicine should not be administered to children under six years of age without the approval of a doctor. The recommended dose for children under 6 years old should be one-half to one-half teaspoonful (5ml) of granules. This depends on the size of the child and how old they are.
If you have not had bowel movements for three days, consult your doctor.
