Product Information: Milk Of Magnesia is a peppermint flavoured liquid containing magnesium hydroxide.
It can be used as an antacid for heartburn and indigestion or as a laxative. At low doses, Milk of Magnesia can neutralise excess acid in the stomach. At higher doses it can provide overnight relief from constipation.
How To Use: Heartburn & indigestion:
Adults and children over 12: take 5-10ml when needed up to a maximum of 60ml in 24 hours.
Children 6-11 years: take 5ml when needed up to a maximum of 30ml in 24 hours.
As a laxative:
Adults and children over 12 years: take 30-45ml at bedtime. Repeat nightly until constipation is relieved. Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days.
Children 2-11 years: take 5-10ml at bedtime. Repeat nightly until constipation is relieved. Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days.
