What are Nurofen for Children 100mg Chewable Capsules used for?
Nurofen for Children 100mg Chewable Capsules Orange is designed specifically for younger users, offering relief for a variety of aches and pains for children aged seven and over, such as:
- Migraine and headaches
- Dental pain
- Neuralgia
- Rheumatic, muscular, and back pain
- Symptoms of cold and flu
These child-friendly chewable capsules are easy for kids to take, providing temporary relief. However, they should not be administered for more than 3 consecutive days. If pain or discomfort persists, it's recommended to discontinue use and consult a pharmacist or your GP for further guidance.
How To Use: For oral and short term use only. Read the package leaflet before use. The capsule should be chewed before swallowing. Do not give to children under 7 years of age.
Age 7 - 9 years: Two capsules up to three times in 24 hours
Age 10-12 years: Three capsules up to three times in 24 hours
Doses should be given approximately every 6 - 8 hours, (or with a minimum of 6 hours between each dose required). Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days.
Ingredients: Active ingredient: Each soft capsule contains 100mg Ibuprofen.
Other ingredients: Glucose, sucrose, and soya lecithin.
