Product Information: Sona AfterBiotic contains 21 billion micro-organisms per capsule. AfterBiotic is a seven day course of probiotics for use after a course of antibiotics.
How CAN THIS HELP?
AfterBiotic can help restore the natural microflora balance after a course of antibiotics by increasing the number of ‘good bacteria’, helping prevent the ‘bad’ bacteria from re-colonizing. Within your bowel, there are 1 to 2kg of bacteria, which are important in keeping us healthy. The gut microflora has an important role to play in digestive and immune health. In addition to providing sustenance and its nutritive value, AfterBiotic helps by inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria and restoring a healthy microfloral balance in the gut, especially during and after a course of antibiotics. Inulin enhances the growth and activities of selected beneficial bacteria or inhibits growth or activities of certain pathogenic bacteria, hence promoting colonic health.
How To Use: After your course of antibiotics take TWO capsules daily for 3 days, and then ONE capsule daily each day thereafter. Take up to one hour after a meal. Do not consume with hot or acidic drinks. Capsule may be opened and emptied into water, milk or yoghurt. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Ingredients: Maltodextrin, Bacterial cultures (may contain milk and soy ingredients), Capsule shell (Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, Titanium dioxide), Inulin, Anti-caking agent (Vegetable magnesium stearate), Antioxidant (Ascorbic acid).
