Voltarol Emulgel Extra Strength 2% w/w Gel penetrates the skin to bring direct relief from pain and inflammation to the affected area.

The Emulgel technology used in this product helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to enhance delivery of the active ingredient, diclofenac, to the site of pain and swelling. Its soothing, cooling formula is non-greasy and non-staining. Pain and swelling can be caused by overuse of muscles and joints during physical activity such as walking, exercise, gardening or your working environment. To help you keep enjoying your everyday activities, double strength Voltarol Emulgel Extra Strength 2% w/w Gel can help you take back control of your life by providing you with long-lasting pain relief. This gel can provide all day relief from pain swelling (inflammation) in joints and muscles.

How To Use

Before use, read the enclosed package leaflet carefully.

Adults and adolescents 14 years and over: gently rub or massage in a small amount of gel into the skin around painful or swollen area.

An amount ranging in size from 1 cent to a 2 cent piece (2-4g) will usually be sufficient.

However, the amount of gel needed will vary depending upon the size of the painful or swollen area (maximum daily dosage 8g).

Apply 2 times daily (preferably morning and evening) unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise.

Consult your doctor if the pain and/or swelling do not improve or worsen within 7 days.

Do not use the gel for longer than 14 days unless longer treatment has been recommended by a doctor.

Ingredients

Diclofenac diethylammonium 2.32% w/w corresponding to diclofenac sodium 2% w/w (20mg/g). Also contains: butylhydroxytoluene [E 321], carbomer, cocoyl caprylocaprate, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, oleyl alcohol, propylene glycol [E 1520], perfume eucalyptus sting (including limonene and linalool), purified water.
